Urgent Search Underway for Missing 11-Year-Old Tiv Girl, Adelah Mnena, in Makurdi

An urgent manhunt is currently ongoing in Makurdi, Benue State, for 11-year-old Adelah Mnena, a girl from the Tiv ethnic group who has been missing since yesterday afternoon.

Adelah was last seen on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., when she left her family home located at 34 Iorzua Ayatse Street, Logo 1, Makurdi. As of this evening, she has not returned, prompting deep concern from her family and the local community.

The young girl is described as light-skinned and can communicate fluently in both Tiv and English. Her family has launched an emotional appeal to the public, urging anyone with even the slightest information about her whereabouts to come forward immediately.
