Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, celebrated his 72nd birthday on Saturday, December 27, 2025, with a well-attended thanksgiving service at St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Gboko, Benue State. The event drew significant attention as it marked the first public appearance of the SGF with his new wife, Queen Zaynab Ngohemba-George Akume Dajoh, barely 24 hours after the Dajoh family formally announced and welcomed her into the fold.
