Benue Students Thank Governor Alia for Swift Evacuation Convoy from Jos Amid Safety Concerns

Benue State students have expressed gratitude to Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia for facilitating their safe return from Jos, Plateau State, following the deployment of a convoy of over 30 buses to evacuate them.

The evacuation comes amid rising safety concerns in parts of Plateau State, prompting urgent calls for government intervention to protect students and indigenes studying outside their home state. According to the students, the governor acted swiftly by arranging a large convoy of buses to convey them safely back to Benue. The coordinated effort ensured an orderly and secure movement of the students, many of whom had expressed anxiety over their safety.
