Governor Hyacinth Alia Presents INEC Nomination Forms to Successful APC Benue Assembly Candidates

The Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, on Saturday presented Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Forms EC13E and EC9 to candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who have been successfully nominated and affirmed for the Benue State House of Assembly.

The presentation ceremony took place at the APC State Secretariat located at No. 75, J.S. Tarka Way, Makurdi.

Governor Alia charged the candidates to remain focused, work closely with the people, and conduct issue-based campaigns that will deepen democracy and bring development to their constituencies. He expressed appreciation to the leadership of the APC at both national and state levels for their commitment throughout the process.

The Governor also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to strengthening democratic institutions and supporting the APC. He assured the people of Benue State of his administration’s dedication to security, good governance, and the delivery of democracy dividends. He further appealed to the electorate to re-elect President Tinubu, himself, and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections to consolidate the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Speaking at the event, the Benue State APC Chairman, Hon. Chief Dr. Benjamin Omale, congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to work hard, mobilize massively for the party, and align with the ideals of the APC. Dr. Omale expressed appreciation to Governor Alia for his leadership and support for the party.

The event was attended by all the successful candidates and members of the State Working Committee of the APC in Benue State.
