Sen. Zam, Udende, and MKA Accused of Plotting Against Governor Alia’s 2027 Re-election

A social media post has claimed that Senator Titus Zam, Senator Emmanuel Udende, and former Attorney General of the Federation Michael Kaase Aondoakaa (MKA) held a closed-door meeting to form a coalition aimed at undermining Governor Hyacinth Alia’s re-election bid in 2027.

According to the report, the meeting took place at Senator Zam’s Abuja residence at No. 69 Gwarimpa Road, FCT. Sources allege the gathering was convened to orchestrate a coordinated plot against the governor, including efforts to frustrate his political structure and support alternative candidates.

The post further claims that the group resolved to work against APC candidates loyal to the governor and that MKA agreed to back Sen. Zam as a preferred senatorial candidate while shouldering a significant financial burden for the operation. The alleged pact reportedly extends to targeting both national and state assembly candidates perceived to be loyal to Governor Alia.

The group is said to have planned another meeting for Monday, 20th July 2026, to expand the coalition. As of now, there has been no official confirmation or denial from the individuals named in the report. The claims remain unverified and appear to be part of intensifying political maneuvering ahead of the 2027 elections in Benue State.
