In a significant development, Ashinjo Vershima Solomon, the media aide to the Leader of the Guma Legislative Council, has tendered his resignation, citing non-payment of remuneration since his appointment. The announcement came via a statement released on Monday, October 20, 2025.
Solomon disclosed that he was appointed on October 18, 2024, by Hon. Godwin Aondohemba Begi, the Leader of the Council.
