Hon. Ageba Steps Down Aspiration, Backs Aha Ahead of 2027 for Gboko 1 Constituency

In a display of party loyalty and political maturity, Hon. Clifford Terkimbi Ageba, the Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture, Food Security and Natural Resources in Gboko Local Government, has officially withdrawn his aspiration to contest for the Gboko 1 State Constituency seat and thrown his weight behind Hon. Terfa Emmanuel Aha.

Hon. Ageba’s decision is informed by the existing zoning arrangement within the constituency, which favors Hon. Aha’s bloc, as well as his commitment to upholding the supremacy of the party and respecting the collective decision of party elders and stakeholders.

While expressing passion for quality representation for the people of Gboko 1, he emphasized that the unity of the party and the collective interest of the constituency take precedence over personal ambition. He urged his supporters to rally behind Hon. Aha and work collectively for the success of the party in the forthcoming elections.

In his words: “I do not take this support for granted. I appreciate each and every one of you for the confidence reposed in me. At this point, I have to accept the decision of the party, which is always supreme. I thank you all for standing by me throughout this process, and I urge you to remain committed to the ideals of our great party and the progress of our constituency.”
