Guma LG Chairman, Governor’s Representative Attend One-Year Yelewata Massacre Memorial Service

Leaders in Benue State on Saturday gathered to commemorate the first anniversary of the Yelewata massacre, paying tribute to victims of the tragic incident that occurred exactly one year ago.

The executive chairman of Guma Local Government Council, Hon. Maurice Orwough, led the delegation, accompanied by Apostle King David Ajav, who represented Governor Hyacinth Alia, and Hon. Christopher Ikper, the APC candidate for Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

The memorial ceremony brought together community members, political leaders, and residents to remember those who lost their lives in the attack. Photos from the event showed a solemn gathering with dignitaries in attendance, including several group photographs of participants at the venue.
