Governor Alia Commends Martinez Love Children’s Orphanage for Supporting Benue Orphans

The Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management/Benue SEMA, Sir James Anodoakaa Iorpuu PhD, donated N7 million to Benue IDP children/orphans at Martinez Love Children’s Orphanage in Opic Estate, Agbara, Ogun State. The gesture highlights the state government’s commitment to the welfare of vulnerable children.

Governor Alia expressed gratitude to Martinez Love Children’s Orphanage for partnering with the Benue State Government to care for 14 IDP orphans and 10 orphans from NKST Orphanage Home, Mkar. He commended the orphanage for providing the children with a home and restoring their hope for a dignified life. The Governor assured continued support and partnership in the interest of orphans in Benue State and beyond.

The founder of Martinez Love Children’s Orphanage, Martina Gyado, speaking on behalf of the organization, thanked Governor Alia for his tireless efforts to redeem the lost glory of Benue State. She lauded him for prioritizing the interests of the less privileged, donating significant amounts for their welfare, and partnering to care for IDP orphan/children, aiming to improve their lives.

The Governor’s delegation was accompanied by the Executive Secretary, Plateau State Emergency Management Agency, Mr. Sunday Abdul, Dr. Barnabas Vangerwua, Rev. Fr. Livinus Adeke, and others, underscoring the collaborative effort to support the orphanage’s mission.
