The Governing Council of Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, has announced the appointment of Dr. Patrick Orbanga Awuhe as the institution’s 5th Rector. The decision was made during a meeting held on September 5, 2025, and takes immediate effect.
Prior to his elevation, Dr. Awuhe served as the Director of the Polytechnic’s Consultancy Unit and Head of the Accountancy Department, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role. His appointment marks a significant step in the institution’s leadership transition.
In addition to the Rector’s appointment, the Council named other key officers. Mr. Kator Peverga has been appointed Deputy Registrar (Academics), while Mr. Collins Ajih will serve as the new Director of the Consultancy Unit. All appointments are effective immediately.
This restructuring reflects the institution’s commitment to enhancing its administrative and academic framework as it continues to serve the educational needs of the region.
