The family of a young man from Gboko, Benue State, is making a public appeal for information about the whereabouts of Desmond Terhide Tyosar, who has been missing for two years after being taken to Ghana.
According to the family, Desmond was lured and taken to Ghana by a woman identified as Shidoo, popularly known as Maya, under the guise of learning work. Upon arrival, he was introduced to a person referred to as an HK Chairman.
A month later, after failing to reach Desmond, the family contacted the HK Chairman, who reportedly claimed that Desmond had run away from the house. Since then, they have been unable to speak with him or determine his location. Maya has allegedly refused to provide details of what transpired or share a picture of the HK Chairman.
The family is appealing to the public for any information on Maya’s current whereabouts or details about Desmond and the HK Chairman he was connected with in Ghana. They have assured that the identity of anyone who provides information will not be revealed.
