Benue Links Debunks Fake Fare List, Confirms Official Christmas Transport Bonanza Starts December 8

Benue Links Nigeria Limited has officially distanced itself from a widely circulated transport fare reduction list currently making the rounds on social media, labelling it completely fake and unauthorized.

In a statement released on Friday, 5th December 2025, the management clarified that the authentic 2025 Christmas Transport Fare Reduction initiative personally approved by Governor Hyacinth Alia will commence on Monday, 8th December 2025.

The company acknowledged the high level of excitement among residents ahead of the annual yuletide palliative but noted that the anticipation appears to have triggered the spread of the fraudulent list.

Passengers have been strongly advised to disregard the circulating document and await the genuine fare breakdown, which will be published through only Benue Links’ verified communication channels on the commencement date.
