In a packed and interactive session that lasted several hours, the member representing Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Engr. Sesoo Ikpagher, yesterday met with thousands of his constituents in Jovkyundan, Konshisha LGA, for the fourth edition of his expanded constituency briefing.
The well-attended event, now a trademark of the federal lawmaker’s grassroots engagement style, saw constituents from all 23 wards of Vandeikya and Konshisha local government areas turn out in large numbers to hear directly from their representative.
Hon. Sesoo used the opportunity to render a detailed account of his stewardship since assuming office about two and a half years ago, highlighting ongoing interventions in education, agriculture, water supply, rural electrification, youth and women empowerment, digital entrepreneurship training, health support, and provision of basic needs across the constituency.
He also outlined new initiatives in the pipeline and called on the people to remain active participants in governance by asking questions, offering ideas, and holding him accountable at all times.
Constituents took turns to commend the lawmaker for his visible projects and open-door approach, particularly citing the provision of boreholes, streetlights, youth skill-acquisition programs, support for women cooperatives, and regular town-hall engagements that have kept the constituency connected to Abuja.
Several speakers expressed full confidence in Sesoo’s representation and prayed for greater success in his legislative and constituency duties.
This latest briefing is the fourth of its kind since he assumed office, coming after numerous community town-halls, religious-group interactions, and ward-level engagements that have become the hallmark of his people-centered representation.
As the event ended with cheers and solidarity songs, it was clear that the bond between Hon. Sesoo Ikpagher and the Jechira people remains stronger than ever, built on transparency, accessibility, and tangible results.
