The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Kogi State, Dr. Oliver Tersoo Agundu, has officially launched a motorized borehole drilling project and an electricity extension initiative in his home community of Mbakyundu, Ipav, within Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State. The projects, unveiled today at 6:33 AM, aim to address critical community needs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Agundu highlighted that the borehole will provide a sustainable source of clean water, eliminating the long distances residents often travel to fetch water. The electricity extension will connect the Mbaburuku community, bringing light and new opportunities to households previously excluded from earlier electrification efforts. He emphasized that these initiatives are part of his ongoing commitment to community development, enhancing access to basic amenities, and improving the quality of life for his people.
