Immigration Officers Rescued from Kidnappers in Ukum

Two immigration officers, abducted near the Benue-Taraba border, have been successfully rescued in Ukum Local Government Area, Benue State. The rescue operation, executed on September 26, 2025, was a joint effort led by the Executive Chairman of Ukum LGA, Hon. Jonathan Modi, and troops of the Nigerian Army.

The victims, identified as David James and Oliver Orasuur, were freed around Tembe and Adamawa villages in Adzendeshi Council ward. The intelligence-led operation underscores the commitment of local leadership and security agencies to protect lives and restore public confidence in the area.
