Logo Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Clement Kav, has flagged off a skills acquisition programme with a promise to empower over five thousand youths and women after the training.
The free empowerment initiative, organised under the Logo LGA Youth and Women Empowerment Programme in collaboration with Events Management and Services, aims to equip participants with practical skills for self-reliance. Courses on offer include cosmetology, hair salon services, perfume making, detergent production, shoe making, chalk and paint production, ankara bags and hand fan making, as well as several other vocational trades.
The programme was launched today as part of efforts to provide the masses with opportunities to be trained and empowered.
