Terver Atu Writes an Open Letter to Pius Akutah Over his Gubernatorial Ambition

Hon. Terver Atu, the principal special assistant to the Governor on Youth and Media Mobilization, writes an open letter to Pius Akutah, which reads below:

Good evening my elder brother,

I write this wonderful letter to you as a younger brother who is very passionate about development, hates cheating and won’t hessitate trying to save the situation especially when a Benue blood is involved and being taken advantage of.

Without mincing of words sir, there is a motivating phrase that says “nothing is impossible” but it doesn’t apply when it comes to ousting the executive governor of Benue state Rev Fr Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia in 2027 and bringing you as his successor.

Sir, I will tell you like I have been telling other big brothers, there is practically no magic that will make you governor of Benue in 2027. Nobody that mean well for you will even risk fabricating this as a revelation but ofcourse they said you are making money and they need to get their own share so I won’t be surprised.

I want to tell you from my heart that same people calling you governor in 2027 are also telling the likes of Byuan and the rest that they are the rightful ones. Most of them are people who lobbied, did all they could to be recognized by governor Alia and are using you to pass time in demonstrating. Right now you are so accomodating that even if black bus is chasing content creators in Makurdi, they run to airforce base and follow the C130 plane and next thing they are doing videos of you in your office. This is the reason why even Abua who was blowing your trumpet was recently seen blowing trumpet to Byuan because to them is survival and not ambition like you see it.

My big brother sir, I assumed that you are a good man and I should advise you in case you don’t know what is happening. We have people who will lick even your feet and sing your praises louder but won’t tell you the truth. Or maybe you don’t want to be told the truth. The truth is that there is no magic that will make you the governor in Governor Alia’s second tenure.

Many will not tell you but I feel I should tell you. If the worst governors can rules for 8 years, what makes you feel governor Alia’s second tenure case will be different sir? The fact is that Benue is not operating a one party system but we still need to tell ourselves the truth sometimes.

This is a harmless advice and you can chose to take it or leave it. At least history will have it that I tried telling you the truth. This advice is supposed to be paid for as consultation but in my state, I might be insulted by the lazy people deceiving you to feed from you but it’s ok. God knows my true intentions so I am happy.
