Haakyav Tombu Peter Sues Terfa Ankyo Over Alleged False Accusation of Cocaine Use

Peter Haakyav Tombu, also known as Ordubu Delu, has filed a lawsuit at the High Court of Benue State, Makurdi, against Terfa Ankyo for allegedly falsely accusing him of consuming hard drugs, specifically cocaine, in a Facebook video.

In a statement on his Facebook page, Tombu declared that following the video where he was accused, he has decided to seek justice through the court of law. He expressed willingness to undergo a drug test with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLA) before the court to clear his name.

A Writ of Summons issued by the High Court of Benue State, with Suit No. MHC/152/2026, commands Terfa Ankyo to appear in court within eight days from the service of the writ. The document, dated 2026, lists Peter Haakyav Tombu (Alias Ordubu Delu) as the claimant and Terfa Ankyo as the defendant.

Tombu described the development as “time to touch money for cases,” signaling his determination to pursue the matter legally. The case highlights the growing trend of individuals turning to the courts to address defamatory claims made on social media platforms.
