Engineer Stephen Abenga, a prominent aspirant for the Ukum State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly, has congratulated the newly constituted leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State under the chairmanship of Chief Dr. Benjamin Omale.
In a statement issued on March 4, 2026, following the successful conclusion of the APC State Congress in Makurdi, Abenga described the congress as smooth, orderly, and reflective of the increasing maturity and unity within the party. He commended delegates and stakeholders for demonstrating a strong sense of purpose and for conducting the exercise in a manner that has further solidified the APC’s foundation across Benue State.
Abenga, widely regarded as one of the leading contenders in Ukum, used the opportunity to restate his unwavering alignment with the administration of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia. He highlighted the governor’s steady leadership since 2023, which he said has repositioned the state for sustainable growth, driven meaningful transformations in critical sectors, and restored hope among the people.
