Idoma-born man cries out for Justice over death of police officer Ejeh John in Taraba

Mr. Ajeh David, an Idoma-born resident of Taraba State, has taken to his Facebook page to call for justice following the death of Ejeh John, a police officer serving with the Taraba State Command.

According to David, Ejeh John, who is from Adupi, Orokam in Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State, was reportedly dispatched on an arrest operation when he was attacked and stabbed. Despite sustaining serious injuries, the officer reportedly managed to hold on to the suspect until the suspect was arrested.

Sadly, Ejeh John reportedly died the following day after suffering severe blood loss.

David is now appealing to the appropriate authorities to ensure that the matter receives proper attention and that justice is served.

“We hope this case will not simply end with a normal charge and bail,” he stated, calling on the Taraba State Government, the Nigeria Police authorities, and the Federal Government to intervene and ensure that the circumstances surrounding the officer’s death are properly investigated.

The death of a police officer in the line of duty deserves serious attention. Justice must be pursued, and the family, colleagues and loved ones of Ejeh John deserve answers and accountability.
