All arrangements are now complete for the official flag-off of a free JAMB registration program sponsored by Dr. Engr. Livinus Tsar, targeting vulnerable and underprivileged students in the Jechira axis of Benue State.
The initiative, part of Dr. Tsar’s ongoing humanitarian and youth empowerment efforts, will cover full registration costs for 250 secondary school leavers who otherwise might be unable to afford the examination fees. The program aims to remove financial barriers to higher education, expand access to tertiary opportunities, and contribute to long-term community development in the area.
The exercise is scheduled in two phases:
– Wednesday, February 25, 2026 — 110 students at 10:00 a.m. prompt
– Thursday, February 26, 2026 — 40 additional students at 10:00 a.m. prompt
Beneficiaries were nominated from Jechira communities, with priority given to indigent students from Vandeikya and Konshisha Local Government Areas. The selection process emphasized verifiable need, academic promise, and community endorsement.
Dr. Tsar, a prominent figure in Konshisha politics and a key supporter of Governor Hyacinth Alia’s administration, described the sponsorship as a deliberate investment in the future of Jechira youth. He stressed that education remains one of the most powerful tools for breaking cycles of poverty and building a more prosperous society.
