Orwough Appointed Benue State Coordinator of PBAT Door-to-Door Movement

The Executive Chairman of Guma Local Government Council, Hon. Maurice Orwough, has been appointed as the Benue State Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement. The movement is focused on mobilising grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Hon. Orwough thanked the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia, for finding him worthy of the responsibility. He said he appreciates the confidence the Governor has placed in him and will do his best to justify the trust. He also sent his warm regards and appreciation to the Convener of the movement, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, for the confidence and opportunity given to him to serve.

As the Benue State Coordinator, Orwough stated that he will work with stakeholders across the state to rally support for President Tinubu’s re-election. He added that he will use the opportunity to mobilise support for Governor Hyacinth Alia and promote the programmes and achievements of both leaders at the grassroots.

Hon. Orwough said he accepts the appointment with humility and is ready to work with party leaders, youths, women, community leaders and other stakeholders across Benue. He assured the leadership of the movement that he will work hard to strengthen its presence across the state and take its message directly to the people.
