The union stated that if any harm comes to Comr. Wandoo, Hon. Jacob Ternenge Nevkaa, Special Adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Student Affairs, should be held responsible. This position is based on circumstances surrounding recent events and information available to the union.

Before her disappearance, Comr. Wandoo was actively engaging relevant stakeholders over the ongoing internal ASUU strike at Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi. She had publicly appealed to students to remain calm while efforts were being made to resolve the crisis.
