A Nigerian Cyclist and online personality known as Real-Emmiwuks has been officially recognized with the Merit Award as the Africa Youth Ambassador, a prestigious honor bestowed by the African Youth & Entrepreneurship Network.
In an emotional post shared across social media platforms late Wednesday, Real-Emmiwuks expressed deep humility and gratitude for the recognition, describing it as a moment that “truly touched my heart.” He highlighted the award as a validation of years of resilience, including countless nights on the road, silent personal struggles, and the unwavering decision to press forward even when exhaustion and uncertainty loomed large.
The ambassador emphasized that the honor acknowledges not only individual effort but also the consistent choice to amplify the voices of the less privileged, orphans, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and other vulnerable communities across Africa and beyond.
Real-Emmiwuks extended heartfelt appreciation to the African Youth & Entrepreneurship Network and the entire organizing team, with special thanks reserved for the event organizer, The Oheji Faith Okpe. He commended the team for recognizing “the work, the pain, and the purpose” behind his journey.
In a particularly moving segment of his statement, the awardee dedicated the accolade to his “online family”—the supporters who believed in the vision when it made little sense to others, prayed during his silent seasons, and stood firmly beside him through difficult days. “This is our award,” he declared, underscoring the collective nature of the achievement.
Looking ahead, Real-Emmiwuks signaled that the recognition marks only the beginning of a broader mission. He announced that “Phase Two is coming sooner than expected,” describing the next chapter as “deeper, heavier, and more meaningful.” He urged followers to stay tuned, ending the message with the rallying call “VIVA AFRICA” and expressions of continued determination.
The announcement has already begun generating positive reactions online, with many commending the young leader’s commitment to humanitarian and community-focused work. While details about the specific criteria or selection process for the Africa Youth Ambassador Merit Award were not outlined in the post, the recognition highlights the growing visibility of youth-led advocacy initiatives across the continent.
Real-Emmiwuks’ journey continues to inspire many, particularly among young Africans using digital platforms to drive social impact. Further updates on the upcoming Phase Two and related projects are eagerly anticipated by his growing community of supporters.
