Man Wanted for Alleged Murder of Ejeba Amali Samuel Udah in Abuja

A grieving family has taken to social media to seek public assistance in locating a man identified as Nelly, who is accused of killing their brother, Ejeba (Amali Samuel Udah), in Abuja.

According to a Facebook post by a relative, the incident occurred yesterday night when Nelly allegedly attacked and killed the victim with a stick from behind. The suspect, popularly known as Nelly, hails from Ojigo in Edumoga, Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State.

The post claims that Nelly’s friend, who was with him during the incident, has been arrested, while Nelly himself is currently on the run. The family expressed deep pain over the loss, noting that the victim was not known to be troublesome.

Photos of the wanted man have been widely circulated alongside the alert. One image shows him wearing a white long-sleeve shirt with colourful graphics and a blue cap, while another depicts him in a black polo shirt and jeans.

The family is urging anyone who sees Nelly or has useful information about his whereabouts to contact the numbers provided in the post or report to the nearest police station immediately.

This remains an unverified social media alert, and no official statement has been issued by the police as of the time of this report. Authorities in Abuja and Benue State are expected to investigate the matter.
