The Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, on Monday, June 15, 2026, donated two buses to strengthen grassroots mobilization and community development efforts.
The presentation was made at the Government House, Makurdi, by the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Dr. Benjamin Omale, to the State Women Leader, Hon. Mrs. Helen Pinen Agaigbe, on behalf of the Governor.
One of the buses was allocated to the APC Women’s Wing to support political mobilization and party activities, while the second was presented to the Kasev Mbaera Development Association for community development purposes.
Speaking on behalf of the women, Hon. Agaigbe expressed appreciation to Governor Alia for the gesture, describing it as a demonstration of his commitment to women empowerment and grassroots development. She assured the Governor of the continued loyalty and support of APC women across the state for his re-election in 2027.
Present at the event were the APC State Secretary, Hon. Solomon Kachina; State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Benedict Yawe; Coordinator of Tinubu Torch Bearers in Benue, Hon. Mrs. Anastasia Mwuese Kpochi; and other party stakeholders.
