Governor Hyacinth Iormemem Alia has flagged off the construction of modern bus stops at strategic locations throughout Makurdi, the Benue State capital, as part of a broader urban renewal and infrastructure improvement programme.

The initiative, which follows the governor’s earlier approval for the comprehensive reconstruction of major township roads within Makurdi, aims to bring order to public transportation, eliminate indiscriminate parking of commercial vehicles, and significantly enhance traffic flow across the city.
