Representing Benue State at the national finals in Lagos, the GSS Gboko girls maintained an unbeaten record throughout five games, securing the championship title and bringing the golden trophy home to the state.
The Governor, who closely monitored the team’s progress, dispatched state officials to receive the champions in Abuja and ensure their safe return to Benue State.
Expressing pride in the young athletes and their coaches, Governor Alia announced that the government has prepared a special reward package for their outstanding performance.
