Formal Governor Samuel Ortom Not Contesting 2027 Presidential Election Discard Fake Poster

The attention of His Excellency Samuel Ortom, the immediate past Governor of Benue State, has been drawn to a misleading poster circulating on social media falsely claiming that he is vying for the 2027 presidential election.

In a strongly worded statement, the former governor’s camp has described the poster as completely false, baseless, and the handiwork of mischief makers bent on spreading confusion and misinformation.

According to the statement issued by Terver Akase, PhD, Media Adviser/Consultant to H.E. Samuel Ortom, Chief Ortom has no ambition whatsoever for the 2027 presidential race. The former governor has consistently and clearly stated that he will not be contesting for any political office in the forthcoming elections.
