Honorable Terwase Orburnde Rejects Benue APC Governorship Primaries Results

All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant for the 2027 election in Benue State, Honorable Terwase Orburnde, has rejected the results of the party’s gubernatorial primaries announced on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the State Secretariat by Professor Mohammed Kabir Isah.

In a strongly worded statement, Orburnde said he would petition the relevant authorities within the party, citing widespread irregularities during the exercise. He claimed that most of his supporters across the state were denied the opportunity to vote as they waited in vain at their ward headquarters without election officials or voting materials showing up.
