A prominent stakeholder from Gboko and board member of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Elder Chief Atsenda Ishwa, has detailed his contributions towards improving opportunities for Benue indigenes within the institution.

Ishwa, who serves on the university’s Non-Academic Staff Committee, described his efforts as part of a broader commitment to greater representation and inclusion at the federal level. He disclosed that two indigenes of Benue State were appointed into the institution through his facilitation, while several others who had been engaged as casual workers were converted to permanent staff under his watch.
