Concerns have been raised over the heavy influx of armed Fulani bandits in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State, particularly along the Gaambe-Tiev axis.
A public alert issued by a concerned individual, Felix Felix, described the situation as worrisome and called on relevant authorities to act fast to avoid impending danger.
The warning comes amid heightened security challenges in the area, which shares borders with other volatile regions and has previously experienced attacks attributed to armed herders and local militias.
Local residents and stakeholders are urging the Benue State Government, the Police Command, and homeland security agencies to deploy additional measures to prevent potential violence and protect farming communities. As of the time of this report, no official statement has been issued by security agencies regarding the alleged influx.
