The Benue State Urban Development Board has carried out a demolition exercise targeting illegal shanties along Old Otukpo Road in Makurdi, the state capital. In his comment, Jerry declared himself a “friend of the police” and warned that any officer attempting to arrest him would face dismissal, asserting he is “not on the same level” with them. The post, made five hours ago, reflects tensions surrounding enforcement actions in the state.
