The post, addressed directly to the Benue State Police Command, claims that one of the arrested individuals is the son of the national president of Miyetti Allah, Alhaji Bodejo.
According to the account, the suspects were arrested by locals and later handed over to the police. They reportedly claimed to be lawyers traveling with friends. The post further alleges that the Miyetti Allah Chairman who was later killed had made a video threatening chaos if the arrested persons were not released. It states that communities subsequently organised peace talks, after which the chairman was killed.
