Benue governorship aspirant, Dr. Jeffrey Kuraun, has declared that Benue State possesses the capacity to feed not only Nigeria but the entire African continent if its vast agricultural potential is properly harnessed.
Speaking in Abuja, Dr. Kuraun unveiled his vision for 2027, emphasizing agricultural reforms, improved security, and comprehensive economic transformation across the state.
He insisted that Benue has everything it takes to become a major food basket, stressing that without adequately securing farming communities, the state cannot realize its full food production potential.
Kuraun highlighted the need for deliberate policies that will protect farmers and unlock the enormous opportunities in agriculture, describing it as the cornerstone of his 2027 agenda for Benue State.
The aspirant’s bold declaration, “Benue Can Feed Africa,” has sparked discussions among political observers and residents, with many wondering whether he can translate this ambitious vision into reality if given the opportunity in 2027.
Dr. Jeffrey Kuraun’s statement comes as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum in Benue State.
