The Bensono Fruits Processing Company Limited has officially commenced full production at its Concentrate plant, marking a significant milestone in Benue State’s industrialisation efforts.
The plant, commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is now operating at full capacity following the successful completion of test runs. This development represents another key achievement in Governor Hyacinth Alia’s industrial revolution agenda aimed at promoting agro-processing, enhancing food security, and stimulating economic growth across the state.
The factory is expected to boost local production, create employment opportunities, and add value to agricultural produce, particularly fruits like oranges, in line with the state government’s focus on agro-industrial development.
The Bensono Concentrate Factory is poised to play a vital role in strengthening Benue’s economy through modern processing capabilities.
