Dr. Hwande Makes Surprise Hospital Visit, Orders Continued Free Treatment for Mama Suswam

The Chief Medical Director of the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), Dr. Terungwa Stephen Hwande, paid an unscheduled visit to Mama Rebecca Suswam, a patient currently receiving free medical treatment at the facility.

Mama Suswam was recently remanded in custody in Gboko over a land dispute involving a former military officer, Mr. Mathias Mungwa. The incident reportedly took a toll on her health, prompting swift intervention from Dr. Hwande upon being informed of her condition. He directed her immediate admission to BSUTH for comprehensive and proper medical care at no cost to the patient.

During the surprise visit, the CMD personally encouraged Mama Suswam to stay strong and steadfast in her faith, reminding her that God remains the ultimate source of healing and restoration.
