Popular Nigerian adventurer and social media personality Emmanuel Aondoungwa, widely known as Emmiwuks or Real-Emmiwuks, has completed a crucial step in his ambitious journey to cycle from Nigeria to the United States of America. On January 15, 2026, Emmiwuks attended his visa interview at the Spanish Embassy in Lagos and officially submitted all required documentation.

In a heartfelt update shared on his official Facebook page, Real-Emmiwuks described the interview as successful and expressed optimism about the process. “I had a successful interview at the Spanish Embassy and officially submitted my documents. Now, we wait, hopeful, prayerful, and trusting the process,” he wrote, adding that he is “believing God for a positive outcome” as he anticipates approval of his Schengen visa.

The visa application forms part of the critical logistics for the next phase of his transcontinental cycling expedition, which has already captured widespread attention across Africa and beyond. Emmiwuks began this historic ride from Nigeria, traversing approximately 12 African countries, crossing challenging desert terrain, and reaching as far as Mauritania before temporarily returning to Nigeria for medical treatment, proper documentation, and visa formalities.

Recall that Emmiwuks first gained public admiration two years ago when he cycled from Benue State to Lagos to pay homage to his music idol, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido. That journey marked the beginning of his reputation as a determined and inspirational figure. The current USA-bound expedition builds on that legacy, symbolizing resilience, faith, and the pursuit of big dreams against formidable odds.
