Benue Links Nigeria Limited Takes 80% Control of Strategic KwaliKa Park in Abuja

In what is being hailed as a major milestone for Benue State-owned transport company, Benue Links Nigeria Limited has officially secured 80% control of the newly acquired KwaliKa Park in Abuja, with plans to assume full ownership in the coming weeks as the tenancy of the previous occupant expires.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, 9th December 2025, during an inspection tour of the facility by the Benue State House of Assembly Standing Committee on Power, Renewable Energy and Transport. The visit formed part of the Assembly’s ongoing oversight of permanent parks acquired nationwide for Benue Links under the administration of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia.

Speaking at the park, the General Manager of Benue Links, Comrade Alexander Aondohemba Fanafa KSM, MNIM, expressed profound gratitude to Governor Alia for the massive investments injected into the company, particularly the acquisition of permanent parks in key cities and the procurement of 100 brand-new buses.

He revealed that full relocation to the spacious KwaliKa Park will finally end years of harassment and operational challenges the company faced while operating in the Federal Capital Territory.

Abuja Business Manager of Benue Links, Mrs. Doris Dyako, confirmed that renovation works have already commenced, including the procurement of chairs and tables, to ensure passengers enjoy improved comfort and service delivery.

Chairman of the House Committee, Hon. Manger Manger, praised Governor Alia for reviving and repositioning Benue Links, noting that the company is gradually becoming a pride of the state. He highlighted the governor’s deliberate efforts to provide an enabling environment for the transport outfit to thrive, ease movement for Benue people, and serve Nigerians with safety, reliability, and affordability.
