Gov. Alia Celebrates Ayabam at 56

Benue State Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia has extended heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Andrew Ayabam, the former Chairman of the Benue Internal Revenue Service (BIRS), as he marks his 56th birthday anniversary on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Governor Alia described Mr. Ayabam as a man of honour with a distinguished career in the banking sector and a shrewd politician with a profound sense of commitment to all his endeavors. He acknowledged Ayabam’s achievements during his tenure as BIRS Chairman, particularly the recruitment of several Benue indigenes into the service.

In a statement, the Governor said, “I celebrate a man with a distinguished service and career; a man who is committed to what he does. A man who has consistently translated his creative ideas into impactful actions.”

Governor Alia also appreciated the APC Chieftain for his support and belief in the policies of his administration, wishing him many more years in good health. The message was conveyed by Sir Tersoo Kula, mnipr, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Benue State.
