On the directives of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, a delegation of Directors from the Federal Ministry of Works, Abuja, in collaboration with Directors from the Benue State Ministry of Works, was led on an assessment visit to the Makurdi-Naka Road to facilitate the necessary assessment and approval processes towards the commencement of construction works.
The visit marks an important step in advancing efforts to ensure that this critical road receives the necessary attention and progresses towards actual construction. For the people of Gwer West, the road represents more than a transport route; it is a vital tool in the fight against insecurity, a link to economic opportunities, improved mobility, easier transportation of goods and services, and stronger connections with neighbouring communities.
