The reconstruction and furnishing of the fire-damaged facilities at St. Winifred Girls College, Ihugh, in Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State, have been completed following a ₦20 million intervention by Dr Livinus Adzer Tsar, the APC flag bearer for Jechira Federal Constituency.
Tsar had, a few months ago, donated ₦20 million towards the reconstruction of the structures destroyed by the fire, pledging to support the restoration of the affected facilities. He also promised to install closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in and around the school premises to strengthen security and safeguard students and staff.
The completion of the reconstruction and furnishing fulfils the commitment made by Tsar following his intervention and has restored the affected facilities for use by the school community. The intervention was carried out while Tsar is not holding an elective public office, demonstrating his continued support for community development through personal initiatives.
