Benne State Representative of Equipping The Persecuted, Mr. Andy Nomsoor, described the attack as heartbreaking and unacceptable. He characterized the killings as a targeted persecution of innocent Christian communities and reaffirmed ETP’s dedication to standing with victims of religious persecution worldwide. Nomsoor stressed that while no amount of assistance can replace the precious lives lost, the organization remains committed to ensuring survivors receive the care, protection, and support needed to rebuild their lives and eventually return safely to their ancestral homes.

Nomsoor urged the government to prioritize the protection of lives and communities affected by the violence, rather than downplaying it with terms like “skirmishes.” He commended Mr. Franc Utoo for his selfless efforts in highlighting the plight of Benue people on the international stage, describing him as a worthy ambassador. He also praised Judd Saul for his dedication to defending persecuted Christians globally and for responding promptly to the humanitarian needs in Sai Community.
