Benue State Government Extends 50% Discount on BDIC Digital Devices Indefinitely

The Benue State Government has approved the indefinite extension of the 50% discount on selected Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC)-manufactured digital devices, citing overwhelming public demand and positive response from citizens.

The initiative, which was initially introduced as part of activities marking the Benue State @50 Golden Jubilee Celebration, has gained widespread acceptance among civil servants, students, entrepreneurs, businesses, educational institutions, and the general public seeking affordable access to quality digital technology.

Governor Rev. Dr. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia directed that the discount programme should continue until further notice, transforming it into a strategic Digital Transformation Initiative aimed at expanding access to digital tools, promoting digital literacy, supporting innovation, and empowering citizens to participate fully in the digital economy.
