Governor Alia Extends Invitations to All Prominent Benue Indigenes for Golden Jubilee Celebrations

Governor Hyacinth Alia has invited all prominent sons and daughters of Benue State, both at home and in the diaspora, to participate in the Benue at 50 celebrations.

According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, the invitations cut across party lines, reflecting the governor’s commitment to inclusive governance. Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia reportedly reached out to senior stakeholders and indigenes irrespective of political affiliation.

The governor is said to view himself as the leader for all Benue people and not a select section. He believes that at the end of his tenure, he will emerge as a statesman who has accorded due respect to all.
