Organised Labour Demands Immediate Release of 2024–2026 Promotion Exam Results at Benue Public Service Institute

Organised Labour in Benue State has formally requested the immediate release of the supplementary staff promotion examination results for 2024, 2025, and 2026 from the Benue State Public Service Institute (BPSI).

In a strongly worded letter addressed to the Director-General of the institute, labour leaders expressed concern over the prolonged delay in releasing the results, noting that the promotion interviews were conducted between March 11 and March 16, 2026 — over two months ago.

The letter highlighted the anxiety and stress the delay has caused civil servants who participated in the exercise, describing the situation as worrisome and questionable. It further noted that while such promotions are often notional without immediate financial benefits, keeping workers in limbo is unacceptable.
