Governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia PhD, on Wednesday paid a working visit to the University of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Ihugh, where he interacted with students and staff of the institution.
During the visit, Governor Alia assured the students of his administration’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for their studies to thrive seamlessly. He also urged them to sit up and take their academic pursuits seriously, emphasizing the importance of discipline and dedication in achieving excellence.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Governor to engage directly with the student body and assess the state of the institution, which is expected to play a vital role in agricultural and technological development in the state.
The event attracted a large crowd of students who turned out in large numbers to welcome the Governor.
