The incident, which has gone viral on social media, shows a large crowd of agitated youths surrounding a vehicle, with some gesturing aggressively as the lawmaker’s team attempted to leave the scene.
According to eyewitness accounts circulating online, the youths turned down what they described as an attempt to influence the primaries through financial inducement, reaffirming their loyalty to Governor Alia’s political structure.
