A distressing situation in Ukum Local Government has prompted swift action from local authorities. The Executive Chairman, Hon. Jonathan Modi, recently addressed a critical health crisis involving a displaced mother of two, who is battling tuberculosis (TB). Reports indicate that the woman gave birth without proper medical care, a circumstance that has severely impacted both her and her children’s health.

Upon receiving this alarming report, Chairman Modi directed immediate intervention through his Personal Assistant on Administration, Mr. Ajiegebe Robert. Acting promptly, Mr. Robert ensured the woman and her children were transported to a hospital in Zaki Biam for urgent medical attention, as instructed by the Chairman.
