The President of the Turan Development Association (TUDA), Mr. Festus Terkura Lorkyar, has died, with the announcement of his passing made on Friday, March 6, 2026. He reportedly died last night, March 5, 2026.

The late TUDA president was widely respected in Turan communities as a fearless and consistent advocate who frequently spoke out against the killings and insecurity plaguing the area.
